Studio Policies

The Basics - PLEASE READ BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS

  1. Class instruction is given with a combination of verbal and physical demonstration by the instructor. Some hands-on instruction is also provided.
  2. Arrive 5-10 minutes early to class. You can be 10 minutes late at most and still be allowed to take the class. We encourage you to please not be late.
  3. Free parking is available on both sides of Adams as well as side streets.
  4. Grip socks are required for all classes for safety and hygienic reasons. We do have grip socks available for purchase at the studio.
  5. No cell phones during class. We encourage photos and social media love before or after class time.
  6. All injuries, medical considerations, and pregnancies should be discussed with your instructor before the start of class. Pregnancies are now allowed in our Classic Flow class only and a doctor’s note is required.
  7. Instructors are subject to change at anytime without notice. Check the online class schedule for updates.

Autopay Membership Cancellation Policy

  1. CANCELLATION OF MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT BY MEMBER
    You may cancel this Membership Agreement at any time after the completion of the initial contract period as outlined in the description of your chosen package or membership. You must provide Hills & Heights Pilates written notice via electronic mail or a letter mailed first-class of your intent to cancel, no less than fourteen (14) business days prior to the due date of your next billing payment.
  2. Failure to provide timely notice will result in a charge for the full amount of your next billing payment.
  3. The cancellation will take place the subsequent month. For example, if your billing payment is due the first day of the month, you must provide written notice no later than fourteen (14) business days prior to that date. If you fail to do so, you will be billed on the first day of the month for the full amount, and your contract will be cancelled as of the date of the subsequent billing payment due date.
  4. If, at the time of receipt of your cancellation notice, you have outstanding payments owed to Hills & Heights Pilates, these payments must be made in full for the Membership Agreement to be considered cancelled.
  5. In the event that you fail to pay outstanding amounts owed, your membership will be considered suspended, the Membership Agreement will not be cancelled, and Hills & Heights Pilates reserves the right to pursue additional avenues or means to receive monies owed.
  6. This Membership Agreement may be cancelled prior to the completion of the initial contract period as outlined in the description of your chosen package or membership upon receipt of written notice via electronic mail (email) or a letter mailed first-class in the event of (1) the death or disability of the member, and the member is unable to receive all Hills & Heights Pilates services which the member has contracted. The member, or the member’s estate, shall be relieved from the obligation of making payment for services other than those received or obligated prior to the death or onset of the disability (subject to the signed doctor’s note regarding the nature of the disability); and (2) the member moves further than twenty-five (25) miles from Hills & Heights Pilates. The member shall provide proof of new residence.
  7. No refunds or cancellations will be granted for reasons other than those listed above. Hills & Heights Pilates reserves the right to modify or amend the services and facilities offered by Hills & Heights Pilates under the terms of this agreement. Such modifications may include access to virtual services in the event of a temporary closure of the facilities.
  8. Additional terms:
    • A LATE cancellation charge of $15 occurs if you cancel within 12 hours of the scheduled class time.
    • A NO-SHOW charge of $25 occurs if you do not cancel out before the scheduled class time if you arrive more than 5 minutes late to class, or if you are signed up for a class and do not attend at all.
    • Early termination fee applies- see below
    • The client agrees to our 2-week notification policy to cancel this contract AFTER the initial 3-month commitment.

Autopay Policy

  1. All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  2. By purchasing this membership, you authorize Hills & Heights Pilates to charge the credit card on file each month until you cancel this membership.
  3. Each monthly payment is non-refundable.
  4. By purchasing this membership, you are entering a 3-month contract term. You authorize Hills & Heights Pilates to charge your credit card on file for 3 consecutive months.
  5. At the end of your initial 3-month contract term, this membership automatically renews for an additional 3-month period. No action is required on your part unless you wish to cancel your membership.
  6. Cancellation of this membership during your initial 3-month contract term is not permitted. A $50 early termination fee applies for each cancelled month in the event you need to cancel your “Monthly Unlimited”, “Founder’s Membership”, “Summer Ready Unlimited” or “8 class package” membership prior to the end of your initial 3-month contract term.

Returns and Refunds

  1. No refunds or exchanges on any purchased classes. No sharing or splitting of memberships or packages.
  2. No refunds on merchandise.

Studio Age Policy

  1. Students must be at least 16 years of age to attend classes. The parent or guardian must sign a waiver for the minor before class start time. Minors must take a Classic Flow class at least one time before attending other classes.

Pregnancies

  1. We now allow pregnancies in our Classic Flow classes only. We also require a doctor’s note that okays reformer Pilates for you. Please inform the instructor of your pregnancy before the start of class and follow all modifications given. Listening to your body is essential in keeping you safe with Pilates exercises during pregnancy. Being moderate, taking breaks, and being mindful is important. Pilates can be wonderfully beneficial during pregnancy if one does not overdo it. Pace yourself and enjoy.
